1998
One truck, two movers
Gilles Lachance does his first moves on the South Shore with a 16-foot truck and his brother-in-law.
2004
Year-round employees
Instead of hiring day labourers every summer, the company keeps its movers all year long. That is still the rule.
2011
The Saint-Hubert warehouse
8,000 heated, alarmed square feet on rue de l'Entrepôt, to store furniture between two homes.
2016
Long distance
First regular runs to Sherbrooke, Quebec City, Ottawa and Toronto, with one truck for each customer.
2021
Mélanie takes over
The founder's daughter takes over the business. Gilles still stops by the warehouse almost every morning.

What is not up for negotiationRule 01
The same crew chief from start to finish
The person who loads your truck is the one who unloads it. You have their cell number on moving day.
Rule 02
We count twice
Every box and every piece of furniture has a number. We count at departure, count again on arrival, and you sign both times.
Rule 03
The price doesn't move
If we got the time estimate wrong, that's our mistake. The bill stays the one on the quote.
Rule 04
We leave with our hands full
Blankets, empty boxes, packing paper and scraps: we take it all back. You have nothing to throw away.
