Saint-Jean Street · since 2021

Less choice, nothing to throw away.

A small men's and women's boutique, opened by a former buyer who had had enough of eight collections a year. Here, every piece is chosen to last.

Owner · buyer

Ève Turgeon

Fashion at Cégep Marie-Victorin, then nine years as a buyer for a national chain. She left disgusted with eight collections a year and coats that don't survive winter.

Ombelle opened in 2021 in a former shoe repair shop. Ève will tell you bluntly when a piece doesn't suit you — that's exactly why people come back.

With her: Naïma (plus sizes, styling) and Simon (menswear, denim).

“I came in for a scarf, I left with a coat I'm still wearing three years later.”

Four rules kept since 2021

Ombelle was born from being fed up with eight collections a year. These rules don't change from one season to the next.
