Services
& rates
Hourly rate of $110 during regular hours, materials extra and billed at cost plus 15% — it's on the estimate. Free on-site estimate for any project over $500. Taxes extra.
No heavy industrial three-phase work: above 400A, we refer you to a specialized colleague rather than improvise.
The Process
Four steps, no surprises
The same process for a dead outlet as for a panel replacement.
-
01
The call
You describe the problem. We tell you right away whether it's urgent, and what to do while the truck is on its way.
-
02
The diagnosis
On site, we find the cause before suggesting anything. Photos to back it up, explained in plain words.
-
03
The written estimate
Labour, materials and timeline, in writing before we start. Nothing gets done without your approval.
-
04
The work and the report
Work that meets the Quebec Electrical Code, before-and-after photos and an itemized invoice by email.
Before you call
The questions we get asked most often on the phone.
Do I need a permit to replace my panel?
In Quebec, a panel replacement must be done by a contractor holding an RBQ licence, who declares the work. We handle the declaration and the coordination with Hydro-Québec.
My insurer wants a report on the house's electrical system.
We inspect the panel, visible wiring, outlets and grounding, then give you a written report with photos to send to your insurer.
Does my house need a 200 A panel?
Not always. Before suggesting an upgrade, we calculate the real load: heat pump, EV charger, heating. If your panel is enough, we tell you.
Do you travel outside Lévis?
Yes, anywhere on the South Shore. Lévis, Saint-Romuald, Charny, Saint-Nicolas and Beaumont with no travel fee; elsewhere, $45, announced before we head out.
One call,
lights on.
Outage, renovation or code compliance: we give you the straight answer on the phone, and a written estimate before touching anything.
