Finding the Fit That Makes You Comfortable
A garment is only worth the number of times you wear it. And we mostly wear what makes us feel comfortable. Knowing how to try things on and recognize a good fit makes all the difference, far more than the size label.
What to check in the fitting room
- Move: raise your arms, sit down, walk to see if anything pulls or pinches.
- Shoulders and neckline: if they sit well, the rest can often be adjusted.
- Length of sleeves and legs, which can sometimes be altered.
- Comfort after a few minutes, not just at first glance.
Sizes vary from one style to another. Don’t cling to the number: try the size above and below, and trust how it feels rather than the label.
We are here to give you an honest opinion. If a piece doesn’t flatter you, we will tell you kindly, and we will look together for the one that does.
