Our story

A trade passed down, a workshop that never stopped beating.

Founded in 1998 in Outremont, Atelier du Cordonnier was born from a simple belief: a well-made shoe deserves to be repaired, not thrown away. Roger Simard learned the trade from his father and has carried on an artisan tradition where every gesture matters.

Nearly three decades later, the workshop remains true to its tools, its carefully chosen leathers, and a clientele that keeps coming back — generation after generation — because here, quality and durability always come before speed.
