The sentence we hear most often: I am not flexible enough to do yoga. It is a bit like saying you are not clean enough to take a shower. Yoga is precisely meant to cultivate that ease, at your own pace.

Getting started simply

For a first session, there is no need for expensive equipment or special clothing. The essential thing is to come with curiosity and a little kindness toward yourself.

Comfortable clothing that lets you move freely.
A calm stomach: avoid a big meal just before the session.
Early arrival to settle in and tell us about your needs.
A water bottle within reach.

During class, listen to your body. If a posture does not suit you, it can be adapted or skipped. There is no competition, nobody watches their neighbor. Breathing calmly matters more than reaching the perfect posture.

Let us know about an injury, a pregnancy or a health concern before class, and consult a health professional if in doubt. Come as you are: you will be warmly welcomed, whatever your level.
