Karine Bédard
Twelve years in mortgage lending, six of them as an account manager at a financial institution before moving into brokerage in 2013. It was from the other side of the desk that I realized how rarely the posted rate is actually the best one available.
Affiliated with Multi-Prêts Hypothèques, I work mainly with first-time buyers and self-employed clients in the Quebec City area. I answer my own calls, including in the evening.
Holder of a mortgage broker license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Services offered in French and English.
Four rules, in every file
Brokerage is built on trust. Here is what you can expect from me, whether your mortgage is $150,000 or a million.
Nothing to pay
The lender you choose pays me when the file closes. You never receive an invoice from me.
Your credit, with your consent
Your credit report is only pulled after your written authorization, never before.
In dollars per month
Every option is explained in monthly payments, penalties and privileges, not just in rates.
Through to renewal
I remain your contact after the notary, and I write to you before your term matures.
