The Dufresne house · since 1971

Three generations
at the same bench.

A shop and its workshop, on rue des Forges in Trois-Rivières. The same bench since 1971, and two people in the shop, never more.

The jeweler

Camille Dufresne, third generation.

Graduate of the École de joaillerie de Québec (jewelry diploma, 2009), trained in stone-setting in Antwerp, GIA-accredited gemologist. Seventeen years at the bench, twelve of them in the workshop founded by her grandfather in 1971.

The workshop is on-site, behind the shop: casting, setting, soldering, polishing, hand engraving. Nothing is sent elsewhere, except stone cutting — a separate trade we don't claim to practice.

Two people in the shop, never more. We'll take an hour with you if needed. That's why we work by appointment.

Three generations

The same bench since 1971.

  1. 1971 The workshop opens

Camille's grandfather sets up his bench in Trois-Rivières. Casting, soldering and setting are already done on site.

  2. 2009 School, then Antwerp

Camille earns her jewellery diploma in Quebec City, then trains in stone setting in Antwerp.

  3. 2014 Back to the bench

She joins the family workshop. A GIA-accredited gemologist, she now signs every custom piece.

  4. Today Two people, by appointment

Two people in the shop, never more, and an hour with you if that's what it takes. Nothing is sent out, except stone cutting.
