Two rooms, zero mirrors
Four rules, kept in every class.
No mirrors
Nobody looks at themselves, nobody looks at you. You feel the pose instead of checking it.
Twelve mats, not one more
Beyond twelve people, a teacher can no longer see every body. We would rather add a class than squeeze the mats together.
Your consent first
No corrections out loud in front of the group, and we ask your permission before any hands-on adjustment.
Three versions of every pose
The simple one, the medium one, the ambitious one. You pick the one for the day, no explanation needed.
The teachers
500-hour certification (Yoga Alliance), additional training in movement anatomy. 12 years teaching, former long-distance runner who discovered yin after a knee injury.
300-hour certification, prenatal specialization (85h) and yoga adapted for seniors. Trained physiotherapist, 16 years teaching. She runs the 6-week beginner series.
500-hour certification, two trainings in India (Rishikesh, 2016 and 2019), 9 years teaching. Speaks little, explains well, and will remind you to unclench your jaw.
A studio that grew slowly.
