Planning Your Outdoor Space Through the Seasons

Dreaming of a welcoming garden is easy. Making it happen takes planning. The good news is that you do not have to do everything at once. A project well spread over time is often more successful and easier to live with.

Start by observing your yard for a few weeks. Where does the sun hit in the morning, in the afternoon? Where does water collect after rain? Where would you like to sit? These observations will guide every decision.

A plan in several stages

  • Define the uses: relaxing, play, vegetable garden, entertaining
  • Settle the basics first: drainage, levels, paths
  • Then install lasting features, like low walls or terraces
  • Finish with plants, which can be added gradually

Each season has its role. Spring is ideal for planting and preparing the soil. Summer lets you observe the yard in full life. Autumn suits some plantings and bulbs well. Winter is the time to draw and dream.

We can help you turn these ideas into a realistic plan. Come with your wishes, photos and constraints: together we will find a path that respects your pace and your land.
